Debra Vogl - daily money manager

About me

From Finance Professional to Personal Advocate

My background is in corporate finance and data analytics; however, my real passion is personal finance. In 2020, when my father’s health declined, I stepped into the role of Power of Attorney for my parents and took over their daily financial responsibilities. What began with a single past-due notice quickly grew into managing bills, taxes, appointments, caregiver support, selling their house and moving them into assisted living, and ultimately handling all financial matters after my father passed away.

Walking through this journey with my parents made me realize how many people don’t have someone to help them manage their financial tasks or protect them from scams and missed payments. That realization inspired me to start Homestead Money Management so others could have the support and peace of mind my parents deserved.

I’m committed to assisting individuals who need reliable, compassionate help with daily finances—whether due to aging, disability, life transitions, heavy workloads, or simply needing structure and accountability.
